Boat dives with our inflatable boat to the dive site "Ressenwand"

Since the 2025 season, we’ve also been operating our own inflatable boat with an electric outboard motor, which can take up to 3 divers to the Ressenwand dive site or any other location on the lake.

Due to strict limitations on engine power imposed by the lake's owner, the trips to the dive sites are conducted at a leisurely pace. However, we promise that the stunning scenery and the unique atmosphere in the middle of the lake will more than make up for the slower ride! Depending on wind conditions, the travel time is around 20–30 minutes each way, and we’re proud to say we operate in a completely eco-friendly manner – fully electric!

This opportunity is exclusively available through Scuba Academy, as Ressenwand is not an official dive site. It may only be accessed and dived exclusively by us, and solely by boat – either with our inflatable boat or with the traditional flat-bottomed wooden boat, the Plätte.

The Ressenwand dive site is a spectacular vertical wall featuring numerous fallen trees and large underwater rock formations. Due to its remote location, it is undoubtedly the most spectacular dive spot in the entire Grundlsee.

PRICES FOR BOAT DIVES

The price depends on the number of divers!

The more divers join the boat trip, the more time-consuming the outing becomes, and the more electricity our e-motor consumes. Additionally, the increased weight causes the boat to move more slowly through the water.

Each dive MUST be accompanied/guided by us!

The price for guiding is already included in the rates listed below.

Our pricing model is based on 1 to 3 participating divers. We've also calculated the individual cost contribution per diver for each possible group size.

In total, the price per diver decreases as the number of divers increases:
